How We’re Governed.

ROOTED for Change is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors committed to mission integrity, financial stewardship, and community accountability. Our board provides strategic oversight — not day-to-day management — ensuring that every decision reflects the values and priorities of the communities we serve.

We operate with transparency, purpose, and a deep sense of responsibility to the people and partners who trust us.

Board Responsibilities

  • Oversight of organizational strategy and long-term mission integrity
  • Financial stewardship, budget approval, and audit oversight
  • Hiring, evaluating, and supporting the CEO
  • Ensuring legal and ethical compliance as a 501(c)(3) organization
  • Approving major policies, partnerships, and organizational commitments
  • Serving as ambassadors for ROOTED's mission in the community
